Something's come up? No problem. Just remember to let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can make your spot available for another hair enthusiast.
Remember, if it's your first time getting a colour treatment with us, or it's been more than six months since your last colour, we'll need you to swing by our salon at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment for a compulsory skin test. This is to ensure your hair is ready and raring to go for the transformation.
If you are unsure what to book or you are changing your colour please book a complimentary consultation a week beforehand with the stylist you are booking. This also gives you time to think about their recommendations.
In the case of late cancellations (within 24 hours of your appointment), we do have a small fee: £25 for the first time, £35 for the second, and £45 for the third. If you miss your appointment without notice, we'll need you to cover 50% of the total service cost before rebooking.
As a cozy, boutique salon, every appointment counts towards keeping our doors open and our stylists busy.

4. Maintain good posture during your haircut by keeping your legs uncrossed.
5. Avoid touching your hair while your colour is processing to prevent stains or uneven coverage.

We primarily cater to clients over 18. However, we do welcome under-18s between 10:00-13:00, provided they're at least 15 years old.
Please note that we only offer haircuts for this age group and parents will need to drop off and return for pick up rather than wait in the salon.

While we absolutely adore children, our salon is filled with all sorts of exciting things that may not be safe for them (hello, sharp scissors and funky chemicals!). Plus, our cozy salon is designed as a peaceful escape for our guests. So, for everyone's safety and relaxation, we kindly ask that you enjoy your salon time as a bit of "you" time.
Yes, you do! Every salon is unique, just like you, and we use a fantastic, natural, ammonia-free brand called Natulique. It's a big hit in Scandinavia but a rare find in London, so it's unlikely you've encountered it before. And because allergies can pop up out of nowhere (and trust us, they're no fun), we insist on a skin test 48 hours before colouring. Better safe than sorry, right?
Oh, don't you worry! We're all one big, happy family here at Crown London. Everyone's on the same team, so feel free to try any stylist you like. After all, a little change can be a good thing! We promise we won't take it personally – we know how busy life can get!
Your happiness is our top priority! If something about your 'do isn't quite right, let us know within a week of your service. We like to keep things flexible around here, so we've priced our colour work and blow-dries separately. That way, you can decide if you want to just have a blow-dry or go all out with a cut and blow-dry to complete your new colour look!
For most of our styling and cutting services, you'll be in and out in about an hour. But if you're planning on a colour transformation, expect to be pampered by us for 3 hours or more, especially if you're also getting a cut and blowdry. Don't forget to add on an hour for the colour to really take hold!
We say, let your natural oils do their thing! They act like a protective barrier during the colouring process, so no need to wash your hair on the same day. But remember, too much of a good thing can be bad, so skip the dry shampoo or spray-on colour before your appointment
We do have an automatic late cancellation and no-show fee, but if you're feeling under the weather and believe there's a good reason to skip the fee, let us know!
